Short-Term Mission Team Helper:
Every year we have short term mission teams that come from all over the States. We have seen the blessing that one experiences when they come and serve here in Guatemala. Over the years we have seen teenagers change careers to serve in missions. Hundreds of people give their lives to Christ through the evangelistic efforts of the teams. We have dedicated construction teams that have built every building we have on our property. They also build homes for the widow, put on roofs for the poor and help fix and maintain what we have. The medical teams save lives every year. We see hundreds come to the Lord through the love and care a medical team gives to those who have nothing.
We need someone to help us with teams. They need to be able to withstand the pressures of a third world country; at times withstand the loneliness without their loved ones; fight their way through culture and language, help teams through problems, communicate by email, phone and letters. Drive hours to stores and airports; have a strong call on their lives to overcome road construction, danger, and disappointments.
Ideally someone retired, a single young person who speaks Spanish, or a teacher with summers off would be great.
