The Little Lambs
Learning about God's creation.
In 2011 Jessica Gormley de Pérez began a learning center for children with special needs called "Jesus' Little Lambs Center". We had discovered that out of our Physical Motor Assistance Program (CAF); only about 10% of the children with special needs were going to school. Currently we have classes once a week for about 20 children. They are broken into small groups so that we can teach them in an intimate setting. We currently have 5 teachers: 3 Guatemalans and 2 missionaries. We give thanks to God for his provision for Jesus' Little Lambs Center. As of March 2012, we have a new building, complete with 3 classrooms! The center offers classes from January through October. Our goal is that each child comes to know Jesus Christ as his or her best friend and Savior.
This year we are pleased to welcome Sally Widbin as the director of the Center. Sally, who holds a Masters of Art in Teaching from Northwestern University, has 30 years of experience teaching elementary school, and 6 years of experience training future teachers while doing research with experienced teachers.

Our greatest need is to have people who are willing to donate to our Center. That way, we can meet all of the needs that the school has at every moment! Your gift of $40/month or more, can provide classes for one student.
You can also donate through our Gift Catalog
Thank you for your love for the children of Jesus' Little Lambs Center
